This is a liminal moment, portending perhaps A Great Transition.

A waiting time, without certainty, without clear vision. Time itself has become empty, an eerie timelessness, a drag between tick and tock.

 

And that sense of liminal space invades my art-making.

I could say, from one POV, "I don't know what to paint these days."

Another voice within whispers: "Shhhh!" And beckons one to enter

more deeply into that liminality - that pre-dawn of creativitiy,

that dark night that terrifies the usual self, the ordinary mind.
